Fall Makeup Favorites | Blogtober

The last time I did a cosmetic post y'all blew the roof off this place! My Affordable Makeup Must Haves post is still one of my most viewed publishings. So, I figured I would give you all an update on some of the cosmetics I have been loving lately. Leave in the comments what your favorite cosmetics are and if you have tried any of these products let me know what out thought of them! I am also always down for trying new products so if you have any natural or sensitive skin friendly recommendations toss those in the comment section as well.

Happy Blogtober y'all!

I am loving this matte liquid lipstick. I have never been one for lipsticks because A.) I bite my lip...A LOT! and B.) they never seem to look very natural. Especially on me, because my lips are very large and puffy. This makes it more difficult when searching for lipsticks and choosing a color. I love these Rimmel Stay Matte because they have a wide range of nudes that subdue the appearance of my lip size and the quality is what it says. It stays and is a perfectly velvety matte.

Many people assume that because summer has come and gone so do the UV rays that damage your skin. That is just not the truth. I use this Burt's Bees BB Cream with SPF 15 daily all year round. It gives the light coverage I need, perfectly buildable and blendable, and protects my porcelain skin from UV damage.

This e.l.f primer is a must anytime I do my makeup. It graciously evens out my facial redness. Saving me from having to use a heavy foundation. In turn, less clogged pores and breakouts. This primer is perfect! Seriously, my BB Cream glides on and I even rub a small dollop onto my eyelids which makes my eyeshadow last all day!

I have really come to love the elf product line and the price is right on point. (haha get it eye liner & point) You can't beat it. This is one of the best and most handy eyeliners I have ever used. It comes with a built in sharpener so it's ideal for tossing into a purse makeup bag. The soft matte satin pencil glides on easily and stays in place. I use it to line my upper waterline. I have noticed this helps deepen any remaining skin tone after applying mascara.

Speaking of mascara this is the drug store one I am obsessed with. It's a very natural looking, light coat, mascara. I have very sensitive skin so I try to keep my makeup, and especially my eyeliner and mascara, as natural as possible. I use this often times to prime my lashes in preparation for the IT Superhero Mascara.

IT Cosmetics are not a drugstore brand or price, but this is the most incredible mascara I have ever used. It has a very voluminous and dramatic coverage. Pretty much eliminates the need for an eyeliner due to it being so thick and bold. This mascara lasts forever and only seems to get better as it dries out a bit. Perfect for me as a mom who doesn't wear full glam makeup on the daily, it's nice to have products that last.

Mom life isn't always as glamorous as people may believe. Sometimes I get behind, pull an all nighter, or even get sick. Can you believe it? I'm a real life human being. Moms aren't do it all superheros. So this luminizing powder helps to bring back life to my dull and sleepy skin. The buildable shimmer is perfect for eyeshadow, highlighting, or even as a basic luminator.

I came across this blush on a late night teething Wal*Mart tylenol trip. The shimmering pressed rose caught my eye and I figured for the price I would give it a try. This Milani blush is gorgeous for being under $10.00 and I haven't regretted the purchase for a second. I have yet to try anything else from Milani, but this blush is my all time fave!. It's very subtle yet buildable for more dramatic color, and pairs perfectly with the Honest Beauty Luminizing Powder.

I don't play or experiment much with makeup. I have finally nailed down a look that seems to work for me for nearly every single occasion. This keeps my products limited, making those large expensive eyeshadow palettes unnecessary. I have purchased palettes in the past and only ended up using a fraction of the eyeshadows included, which just seems to be a waste. That makes this Pacifica nude palette a winner for me. I actually use every single color in this palette. I don't deviate too far from the look I've nailed down but, when I feel like getting a little wild I smoke the outer corners with the richer brown shades.
