Eat well

Easier said than done right? Eating well isn’t rocket science, yet many of us fail to put the right foods into our bodies to keep ourselves in top condition. Make things easier for yourself and plan out meals each week so that when it comes to deciding what to have for dinner you don’t just opt for a deep fried take away and guzzling it down with wine. Plan out meals that the whole family can benefit from, and you will find that preparing this will help you stick to your guns and eat better.


Exercise doesn’t have to be hardcore workouts in the gym every night. Exercise is anything that slightly raises your heartbeat and gets you out of breath. It can be done almost anywhere and at anytime. Try jogging back from the school, run with the shopping cart, and when you’re doing housework, go at it a little harder so that you sweat off the extra calories. A good idea would be to buy yourself a pedometer and see if you can beat the previous day’s steps every day. You will see how much more exercise you’re getting.

Water intake

Making sure that your water intake is where it should be is important too. Your brain functions much easier when it’s properly hydrated, and the same goes with your muscles and joints too. Mix things up a bit and try strawberry water so that you don’t get bored with the same bland drink. You will notice so many changes in your body just by upping your water intake. A great way to keep track is to write time limits on your water bottles and aim to drink a certain amount by a certain time.

Love yourself

Finally, when all is said and done you’re still an incredible human. So if you forget to eat well every single day, then let it slide because there’s nothing you can do to change the past. Learn to love yourself because the people around you surely do! Remember to never compare yourself to anyone else, especially with what we see in the media!
