I love fall and have always been a big fan of family style fun. Even before having a child of my own. The pickens are slim for the traditional fall family adventures I'm used too out here in greater Nevada, but I was determined to find all the farm fresh favorites I enjoyed growing up as a midwestern kid. So when a friend suggested Lazy P Adventure Farm I instantly turned to google to see what all they had in store. With a few clicks of my mouse I knew this was it! I began planning mine and Milo's day of good ol' down home family fun!

Fun & friendly home décor, decorative accents, great gifts, and cozy apparel by Evergreen, New Creative, and Cypress Home.
Where is Lazy P Farm
You can find Lazy P Adventure Farm at:
8280 Grass Valley Rd, Winnemucca, NV 89445
Right off of I-80 in northern Nevada. It was a two hour trip from my small mining town and well worth it. I have grown used to the vast open spaces that connect the cities out here in the west and Milo did great on our drive.

When is Lazy P Farm Open
Fall 2017 Lazy P Adventure Farm is open every weekend in October! Hurry, you still have time to plan your visit!

Attractions:

Free with Admission
Petting Zoo: Milo got to pet and play with all kinds of baby farm animals! Something he definitely does not get to experience at home. It is so fun to watch him experience new things for the first time.
Corn Box: A fun farm style twist on a sand box! With Milo only being 1 years old this is one of the attractions he could interact with and it seemed he liked this the most. As you can see in the video above.
Hay Maze: The little tykes hay maze is soo cute and perfect for wandering toddlers.
Tractor Tire Mountain: A pyramid of pebbles and old tractor tires was a huge hit with the kids.
Spider Web: Try walking and climbing on a spider web of draped knotted ropes. It's harder than it looks.
Pumpkin Tether Ball: A fun Halloween inspired twist on the classic playground game.
Fire Truck: They had all kinds of old fashioned machines, vehicles, and farm equipment. Among the machines were educational signs that included facts about the uses and history of each one.
Hay Wagon Ride: What fall family fun farm would be complete without a hay ride!? None, I say! This is a classic and a must when it comes to any fall time adventure.
Giant Checkers and Tic Tac Toe: Everything is better when it is king sized!
Rubber Duck Races: This was one of the cutest games I saw all day! To race your rubber duck you pump an old fashioned well to flood your track with gushes of water.
Corn Hole: A little something for adults too.
Tug-o-war: Compete against your friends and family.

Pay a Little Extra
Bounce House 2 tickets: What child doesn't love a bouncy castle and slide. I was almost tempted to kick my boots off and hop in.
Pedal Karts 2 tickets: Parents you can join in on this one too! With small and large pedal carts this includes fun for the whole family.
Cow Train 2 Tickets: Milo and I couldn't resist this one. Just too cute!
Corn Cannon 3 tickets: Test your aiming skills with pressure launched ears of corn.
Pumpkin Patch: Choose from hundreds of pumpkins grown right there in the Lazy P Pumpkin Patch for only .60 cents a pound.
Paint Ball Arcade 5 Tickets: Splatter targets with paint filled pellets.
Pony Rides 5 Tickets: My favorite attraction as a child.
Jumbo Jumper 3 Tickets: This was something I have never seen before. An inflatable mat similar to the bounce house, where kids bounced and jumped as high as they could. This jumbo pillow launched them into the air and cradled their landing.
Maze- Adult $8, Child $5: Is any fall farm complete without an epic corn maze? I surely think not. This was well worth the two hour drive. Milo was so curious and the maze was extremely well constructed.
Flashlight Maze –Adult $9, Child $5: Feeling risky? Do the maze at night!
Barn of Terror $10.: Haunted houses are a Halloween staple and make for perfect fall date nights. May be a little too spooky for the whole family.

We left with bellies full of concession style snacks and a stroller packed with pumpkins. We didn't end up doing everything the farm offered, but we sure did have a great day. Milo was so beat after all the fun and taking in the atmosphere, he snoozed the entire way home.
